Pastor Mike Field reports 380 students were registered (11 February 2016) for the 2016 year at the Peter O’Connor School Gerehu.
Unfortunately, the building is “maxed out”, according to Pastor Mike. Many students were turned away.

Pastor Mike thanked the Peter O’Connor Foundation for its support. The foundation has supplied books, desks and other school furniture and money for teachers’ salaries.
Funds for the foundation come from the estate of the late Peter O’Connor which directed that a charity be set up to help education in Papua New Guinea.
